Before we start this course, we will first look at what's covered during the training. The course is divided into categories, and within each category, you will find several videos. You can pause and watch again any of the videos on the course. We update our courses regularly and you will be able to see any replacements and also any new videos as they are released. You work through the course videos in order and now we will give you an overview of what's contained in the course. In the first section, we will look at what lone working is, is it legal to work alone, what a risk assessment is, a lone worker risk assessment, problems that affect lone workers and safety tips for lone workers. This course also includes dealing with aggression, recognising danger signs, verbal and non-verbal communication skills and employers liability insurance. At the end of the lone worker's course, there is a video advising you of tips and procedures to take to ensure you are always safe.
