Before we start this course, we will first look at what will be covered during the training. The course is divided into categories and in each category there are a number of videos. You can pause and watch again any video on the course. We update our courses regularly and you will be able to see the replacement and new videos as they are released.

You work through the course videos in order and to give you an idea of what the course will cover, the categories and videos on this course are:

Firstly, what lone working is, if it is legal to work alone and is it legal, what a risk assessment is, a lone worker risk assessment, problems that affect lone workers, safety tips for lone workers.

This course also includes; dealing with aggression, recognising danger signs, verbal and non-verbal communication skills and employers’ liability insurance.

At the end of the Lone Workers course, there is a video advising you of tips and procedures to take to ensure you are always safe. There is also a brief summary to recap all of the information once again.
